After looking into incorporating text into my artwork i started to look at artwork that's completely based on text. The images below are all art created by fans of the books The Fault In Our Stars, and range from quick doodles to professional work.
The book that was used for this work is famous for it's quotes both from others and those from the books itself, a lot of the artwork that's created for it comes from these quotes. I like the rough sketched style that both of these have they give a real sense of the work and reflect the styles that often seem to relate back to the book.
The piece above is quick scribble that was created on paint and yet I like it because of that quick unfinished feel to it, it's simple and still reflect the sense it wants to.
This piece being on a more professional level clearly took more time and I really love the use of text in it combined with the small images scattered within the work that help to add to what's being expressed.
